In this post, you will find 3D pictures (JPEG and MPO files) of the Windsor Castle and Stonehenge: Panoramas 3D photos of the gardens in front of the The Round Tower, Engine Court in 3D, 3D photos from outside the Castle and finally Stonehenge in 3D. These 3D images galleries were taken during my day trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford.

You can download these MPO files format with their JPEG photos (resolution 4912 × 1080) and try them on your 3D TV or Nintendo 3DS (or any other 3D viewer). I took these 3D Photos of Windsor Castle and Stonehenge with my Sony Nex 5 camera using the 3D Sweep Panorama mode. You will need to download both files JPEG and MPO in order to be able to watch it in 3D. For security reason (imposed by WordPress), I had to compress the MPO file into a zip file, you only need to unzip it in order to get the MPO files format. Viewing theses files in 3D should be supported and compatible with new 3D TV model from Samsung, Sony Bravia, LG, Panasonic…
I don’t have a 3D TV to try it out. Please let me know how the 3D Windsor Castle images work for you If you downloaded these files and tried them. How is the quality? is there a difference between 3D photos of Stonehenge? How does the Stonehenge rocks looks like in 3D? Did you convert these MPO files for your Nintendo 3DS? How did it work? It’s a pity you “zipped” the .MPO files. It hardly makes any difference in the file size (7%) but it adds an extra step when downloading them to copy them to a thumb drive or DVD to view on my 3D TV.
As I have already mentioned in this article “…For security reason (imposed by WordPress), I had to compress the MPO file into a zip file…”
How do you create the *.MPO file?
I use the Sony nex-5 camera to create the .MPO files, it takes many photos and combines them into one .MPO file.
